Our group arrived about noon today London time (Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013), and after an easy transfer to our hotel near the British Library and Euston Square tube stop, we are just relaxing getting ready for tomorrow's tour of central London.
Although I slept some on the plane, and a few other wise students did as well, there were some wired and excited individuals who have not slept and are still going strong! No luggage lost; all have checked in and have been issued Oyster cards, which will allow students to travel the subway with ease. The weather is very Seattle/Tacoma like-- overcast with temps in the mid- to high 40s.
Dinner tonight for most was English potted pies or fish and chips; some had burgers and there was also a plate of Nachos that I saw!
Tomorrow: Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral, and other sites!
